With more than 30 years of performing experience as a flutist, there are numerous possibilities:
Concerts/recitals – One of my main areas of interest as a performer.
Concert venues could include traditional performing halls/auditoriums/theaters, churches, libraries, and the new trend of in-home concerts—for a personal touch.
- “Fastest Fingers in the West” – a solo flute program
- Heather and Lace – flute with vocals, harp, pennywhistle, small percussion
- Flute and Piano
Other events
- Weddings–I love to play for weddings—flute or harp. Receptions, too!
- Parties—to spruce up a holiday party—during dinner, cocktails, or a featured performance.
- Funerals—yes, I’ve played for funerals; a fitting and memorable tribute to have live music played.
- Church services—enhances and supplements the service with special music.
- Blessings—I’ve played for many different kinds of blessings
A live performance of Flute Music will help you savor, enjoy, and remember life’s most important events.
Flute Music is truly Music for Life!
I have several different kinds of flutes:
- Gold—made by Brannen Brothers Flutemakers of Boston
- Silver—made by Altus
- Wood—made by Rudall Carte of London, and is 100 years old
- Piccolo—made by Brannen-Keefe, in granadilla wood
- Alto flute—a lower-voiced member of the flute family, with a beautiful throaty sound.
- I also play pennywhistle and recorder.
